On December 23, a yoga therapy class at HKBH Hospital for stroke patients included four women and six men. Patsy led the session, teaching the same sequence as before to help participants remember and practice at home. The class began with seated pranayama breathing techniques, followed by a stretching and strengthening routine targeting the neck, shoulders, upper back, chest, obliques, calves, ankles, thighs, and hamstrings. Participants practiced twisting poses and core exercises using a yoga board. They then moved to standing poses to stretch the lower back and practiced one-legged balance poses. Everyone put in their best effort to complete the session, and we expressed our gratitude for the opportunity to practice together and support each other on our healing journeys.
