Thank you Master @Yogananth Andiappan for teaching a very comprehensive class today. Started with stretching and flexibility poses and moved on to balancing, strengthening ( both front and back posterior chain) core, twisting, back bending and ended with alternate nostril breathing. Used the wall, blocks, straps for various poses. Students worked very hard and at the end of class – one student shared with us that after a year and half of coming regularly her knee ( after surgery) had remarkably improved and strengthened well according to her doctor. Also the other weak knee ( that initially the doctor felt may need surgery) is much stronger now and the doctor will monitor and may ultimately not need surgery. She was very happy and grateful and thanked us for the classes and helping in her rehab and progress. So rewarding to see our students get stronger and this is the reason we all volunteer!
