Anna Hsu is the co-founder of Anahata Yoga Studio, a pivotal institution in the yoga community that has provided unwavering support to the Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC). With a deep commitment to the practice of yoga, Anna has dedicated her career to fostering wellness and mindfulness in individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Through her leadership at Anahata, Anna has been instrumental in developing programs that not only enhance the practice of yoga but also promote its therapeutic benefits. Her vision for AYC aligns with her passion for community service, and she actively participates in initiatives aimed at improving health and wellbeing through yoga.
Anna brings a wealth of experience in brand marketing, portfolio management and business development. She began her career in Colgate Palmolive in their management program, where she was instrumental in the launch of their new baby range into the Hong Kong market. She then spent six years at BAT in marketing for Greater China including two years as Head of Marketing for Central China, based in Shanghai. Following her tenure at BAT, Anna served as the Director of Marketing at Calvin Klein Corporate for three years, managing marketing, PR, and advertising across Asia Pacific for various lifestyle categories. She later ventured into entrepreneurship, investing in security technology and supporting Australian iron ore companies in pre-IPO activities to sell their high-quality products to China.
Anna’s blend of marketing expertise, dedicated yoga practice, and community involvement makes her an invaluable asset to the board. She continues to inspire others to embrace yoga as a pathway to health, personal growth, and collective wellbeing.
