Yoga Class for Migrant Workers with The Uplift Project

Project Status:  On going
Last Updated: 18 June 2026

About this Project:

The Uplift Project is a student-led initiative dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of migrant workers in Hong Kong. Migrant workers often face high levels of stress, long working hours, and physical exhaustion from their daily responsibilities, while having limited access to wellness resources.

In partnership with The Uplift Project, AYC is excited to offer a series of accessible Yoga sessions specifically designed for migrant workers. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where participants can focus on self-care and experience emotional comfort. Adopting a therapeutic approach, this tailored practice focuses on gentle movements to relieve physical tension, restore energy, and enhance overall mental resilience. We believe that regular yoga practice can empower these resilient individuals, enhance their well-being, and bring a sense of community and joy to their lives.
