Financially Accessible Yoga
Project Status: On going
Last Updated: 7 November 2025
About this Project:
The Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (HKYWCA) is committed to empowering young women and mothers through various support services and community initiatives. With a focus on enhancing the well-being of families and promoting gender equality, HKYWCA provides a safe space for young mothers to connect, learn, and grow.
The Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC) is excited to collaborate with HKYWCA to offer yoga classes tailored specifically for young mothers.
Through these yoga sessions, AYC aims to provide a holistic approach to mental and physical health, helping participants alleviate stress and improve their overall well-being. The classes will focus on relaxation techniques and mindfulness practices, allowing young mothers to find balance in their busy lives.
It is our hope that these yoga therapy sessions will not only offer immediate stress relief but also foster a supportive community among participants. By promoting the therapeutic benefits of yoga, AYC and HKYWCA aspire to empower these young women, helping them cultivate a healthier lifestyle and a nurturing environment for themselves and their families.
