About this Project:

The Diocesan Pastoral Centre for Workers – Kowloon (DPCW), under the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong, is dedicated to serving grassroots workers and marginalized communities. The Centre actively supports Ethnic Minority (EM) families and low-income workers by offering community outreach, social services, and educational programs to promote social inclusion, protect labor rights, and improve overall quality of life.
This initiative is a dedicated community project aimed at improving both the physical and mental health of Ethnic Minority (EM) women in Hong Kong. EM women often face high levels of stress, social isolation, and physical exhaustion from demanding household responsibilities, while having limited access to culturally sensitive wellness resources.

In partnership with the Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC) and DPCW, we are excited to offer a series of accessible Yoga & Holistic Wellness sessions specifically designed for EM women. Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive space where participants can focus on self-care, relieve physical pain, and find emotional comfort. Taught in English by a qualified female teacher, this gentle and therapeutic practice focuses on releasing tension, improving mobility, and lowering daily stress through guided breathing. We believe this program empowers EM women, enhances their overall well-being, and fosters a strong sense of community integration and mutual support in Hong Kong.
