Healthy Growth Yoga
About this Project:
The Andiappan Yoga Community (AYC) is delighted to collaborate with The Caritas Jockey Club Integrated Service for Young People (Tak Tin) in providing yoga classes for children with special education needs (SEN) ranging from 7 to 11 years old (Primary 2 to Secondary 1 students). Kids yoga for empowerment and rehabilitation in this context is particularly meaningful as children with SEN may often find it challenging to build up body balance and strengthen muscle coordination. By offering yoga sessions to these young children, AYC hopes to share the physical and mental benefits of yoga with them and help them integrate better into the community.
Who are the students in this project?
This is a healthy growth class open to beneficiaries of The Caritas Jockey Club Integrated Service for Young People (Tak Tin) for children with SEN.
