Good. Pamela started with the basic warm-up. She led a more passive type of warm- up so because of the weather when I started I added some more dynamic warm- up arm and wrist rotations, hip rotations, lateral bends and twists. Started with leg swings against the wall then leg extensions behind for strengthening . Chair using the wall with and without block for alignment. Then chair without wall. We then did some basic bridge warm- ups and simple bridge and then hips up on the blocks for a semi- inversion. Then reclining pigeon and students today could even straighten 1 leg. Then hip warm- ups ( spider, knees move left and right) then we did fish on blocks for chest opening and ended with pranayama breathing ( holding breadths same number of counts). Students had nice alignment for all the poses as we practiced similar sequence from last week. I also took note to give instructions slower and clearer and how to move into and out of the poses. Great support and energy from Hazel, Fiona and Pamela.
